What's making a human being lazy?

The main question that preoccupies my mind right now is the following: What are the reasons behind a human being's laziness?
Sometimes we know what’s wrong and what’s right.. but we do the wrong. On many other times; we know the final destination and the path we should take to reach it.. but we stay inert, or, worst, moving in another direction..
